This was part of last years Mystery Quilt. I was a brand new embroiderer and I had a blast. This pattern was so much fun! and SO easy. Something that is tremendously helpful to me is that I could watch video demos of how to make the block before I ever started. I enjoyed it so much I made extra blocks to play with the colors.

The best block out of the group. Good way to use up all your left over fabrics from prev. quilts. Great design for baby quilts.

I didn't start this until after all the weeks had been sent since I was still working full time then. When I became unemployed, I started this project after having a quilt shop owner assist me in picking out fabric. Occasionally I had a few issues with the directions, but am just about ready to start sewing blocks together & making borders, etc. It was a fun project & makes 'quilting' much easier than traditional quilting. I'll probably try my hand at the 2012 Mystery Quilt, too!

Although the name is card trick, this quilt is easy to make with the easy to follow instructions the Sisters have written. The stitching looks tricky but they took care of that too. Everyone will think you are a professional after stitching this quilt.
Thank you sisters for making this my first quilt in the hoop with no teacher. I did not take a class.
