Our history: We are located in Holton, Kansas, a small rural town in Northeast Kansas. When I was about 12 years old we lived here and I always loved the beautiful downtown square and it became a dream of mine to have a store on the square when I grew up. Fast forward about 30 years, my mom and dad had retired here and when my dad passed away in 2012, my husband and I moved here to be with my mom. After getting to know some of the locals, we decided to open a sewing center to be able to help the ladies with their sewing machine needs. There just happened to be the perfect beginner location right on the corner of the square!! Slowly, my dream was becoming a reality and everything was falling right into place! We opened our store in January 2013. Our little dream shop began to grow faster than expected and we had to relocate to a bigger location. About then a building on the square came up for sale that was just over 5,000 square feet and was perfect to grow our dream! In August of 2014 we purchased the new location and began the remodel. Thanksgiving weekend of 2014 we moved in! We have now been in business for over 5 years. We continue to grow in customers and friendships and couldn't be more blessed!

We try to keep our options simple yet affordable to our customers. Hoopsisters has been very easy to deal with and really helps us little guys by thinking of everything to make our jobs easier so we can focus on what matters, OUR CUSTOMERS! The designs and projects they offer are realistic to make and simple, which makes class time fun!
