A Great Beginning for learning a new technique

Posted by FavyM on 24th Apr 2012

This was my first Hoopsisters project and I made it so as to lead the monthly group that we had at our local sewing store. I love the wonderful textural effects with the layering of decorative stitches over fabric, and the flip and sew method is great. To this day customers still come in to the store and see my quilt and are in awe of it!

Only way to make an accurately stitched Quilt!

Posted by Aileen Bland on 24th Apr 2012

In a class at Fun to Sew, Moore, OK, I had the privilege of learning the Quilt as You Go method by Hoopsisters. After completing my Crazy Quilt, I purchased several others, including the Double Wedding Ring, Butterflies and Friends, and Dresden Plate, and others. The instructions for each one is so clear and easy to follow and has stitched out so beautifully, that I do not plan to do any other type of quilting. Thank you Annie and Lynda for your marvelous work from which I have benefitted so much.

    Nothing Crazy About It!!!

Posted by Dee Koengeter on 23rd Apr 2012

This was the first time I did a hoopsisters project and it won't be the last. The material I choose really made the center pop and all the great embroidery stitching adds great detail. It hangs on the wall over the fireplace and I can't stop looking at it.

    Beginners Luck.

Posted by Jan. B on 23rd Apr 2012

I probably should not say "Beg. Luck" because it was easy to do and went together so well. I, me, had a couple of problems but they were my mistakes. Forgetting to change colors ect. But it was fun and I am now working on TNT. I have tried several for my own reasons and they have never disappointed me. I love Hoopsisters for making me look good. What fun.

    Success is Easy!

Posted by Daisy on 23rd Apr 2012

I have several Hoopsisters designs so it was difficult to choose only one to review! Crazy Compass was the most recent one that I did. It was wonderfully fun and surprising how the colors came together to create a stunning wall hanging. Your directions are very thorough and easy to understand, that also helps with my success!!

    Great Embroidered Quilt

Posted by Debbie Ueda on 23rd Apr 2012

This was my first block of the month. I loved combining using my embroidery maching with my love for quilting. I have participated in each BOM since and loved the results and received many wonderful comments of the finished wall hangings.
