Q: When is the digital download available for me to download?
A: Your digital download is available immediately after you finalize your purchase. Simply Click on the ORDER # given at the time of your purchase, which OPENS the order up to see all items purchased on the same order. Next, Click the small arrow pointing down on the image of the design you want to download. Lastly, Click the filename that appears and the download process will begin to your computer. Be sure to check where your computer is saving the files. Then Print the step by step instructions and save the file format you need onto a USB stick and take directly to your embroidery machine. The digital download will also remain in your online account for you to download again as needed, if you would have computer issues.
Q: Why do you use water soluble thread?
A: We use water soluble thread in the needle only when doing a tack down stitch. I quick touch with a wet Q-Tip takes care of it and no need to use a seam ripper. It reduces bulk in the seams, basting stitches won't show once blocks are joined together, and fewer thread changes. Please watch our under two minute video in the HOW TO tab of our website. We also have a video on our YOU TUBE channel that explains.
Q: How do you assemble/join the quilts?
A: Well we do have a few different ways that we join our quilts and our designs come with instructions and slideshows. We also offer a DVD called Join Your Sash Off that gives various methods. You can search for this DVD in the search bar and then pull up the product to read the description of different methods that we show in the DVD. Also, check our HOW TO tab on the website and watch the Trim, Join, & Sash video.
Q: I emailed you, but I haven't heard back yet?
A: If it has been longer than 48 hours since your email was sent to us, whether it was your first email or a follow up email answering a questions we asked or submitting a photo, if you haven't heard anything, please contact us by phone at 866-497-4068. We always respond and we most likely didn't get your email or follow up email. We always strive to get back with people as quickly as possible; we value you as our customers. Please know that our intent is to take care of you as quickly as possible. (Note: We do not work during the weekend hours; therefore, do not count the weekend within the 48 hour time period, only business hours. Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (EST)
Q: What formats & block sizes do you provide?
A: Check the product description of each design for format & block size information. In general we provide: .dst, .exp, .jef, .pes, .vip, .vp3. Block sizes also can be different for each design so check the product description of the design you're interested in. The product description can be found by clicking on the design you like and scrolling down slightly.
Q: Is there a front and back to Battilizer?
A: Nope! There is no front or back when hooping your Battilizer.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Unopened packages are good for exchange only if same design is returned within 10 days of purchase. No refunds or substitutions of opened materials.
Downloadable designs are non-refundable; it is now in your online account on our website and available on your computer and cannot be returned to us.
Q: What size HoopSisters block can my machine make?
A: There are SEVERAL type of machines and your local sewing shop will always have the most up to date information on the brands they carry. They are always the best place to start when you have questions about what your specific machine can do. We cannot keep up with all machines and the hoop sizes. The description of our products should indicate the file size, which should help you determine if your machine/hoop can make the design. If our product description doesn't list file size or minimum hoops size, feel free to email nina@hoopsisters.com to get more information.
