This year's Mystery Quilt we've named Divine Divide, and is a modern take on traditional blocks.
Nine Patch, Ohio Star, Friendship Star, and Sarah's Star. These blocks are pieced in the hoop in columns, and include the quilting. After each column of the block is stitched, they are then trimmed and stitched together to form the block. Using this method, you can achieve traditional piecing without using raw edges that need to be covered by satin stitches.
The blocks are arranged in a modern diagonal layout, separated by simple quilted blocks with no piecing, making this a fun and quick quilt to stitch.
This quilt has what we call, a one piece back. This back is added after the quilt top is joined together. It is then stitched in the ditch to secure. Also included is a label file.
Optional for the back is the Edge to Edge quilting files. Should you choose to pre-quilt the backing before adding to your quilt top.
